SURVEY: LUS and LCG Public Works have collaborated to get a clearer understanding of how to better assist the Lafayette community's outdoor watering needs. They are requesting Lafayette residents take a 5-minute survey that will ask questions about their outdoor watering activities. The LINC Comprehensive Master Plan is a long range policy document that establishes a framework for decision making and collaboration. The plan outlines recommendations to provide decision makers with guidance in the hope of making Lafayette Parish a even better place to live. The twelve elements addressed in the plan are drainage, utilities, economic development, land-use, transportation, recreation/open space, arts/culture, housing/neighborhood, urban design, public services, environmental and special areas.

The LINC Comprehensive Master Plan was adopted by the Lafayette City-Parish Planning Commission on September 5, 2007. This Plan is a dynamic document, that is, it is always being amended and expanded.
