SURVEY: LUS and LCG Public Works have collaborated to get a clearer understanding of how to better assist the Lafayette community's outdoor watering needs. They are requesting Lafayette residents take a 5-minute survey that will ask questions about their outdoor watering activities. The survey will allow LUS and Public Works to determine the interest level of participants in using a rain barrel as a method for their outdoor watering.  (Click here for Survey)

The Comprehensive Master Plan

COLLABORATION PROCESS

The LINC collaboration process outlines a process to move the master plan toward implementation.

After the Lafayette City-Parish Planning Commission prepares and adopts sections and elements of the Comprehensive Master Plan, the Lafayette City-Parish Council receives and reviews the commission's latest actions.

In coordination with the City-Parish President, the Lafayette City-Parish Council then prepares joint "Directives" to the LINC Implementation Committee.

These "Joint LINC Directives" identify what adopted elements in the Comprehensive Master Plan are politically and financially appropriate.

It is ultimately the Lafayette City-Parish Council that provides resources, establishes ordinances and policies for implementation of the Comprehensive Master Plan.
